Technical Support Engineer · SaaS, Linux, networking & observability
§ 1 · About me
Home ports
I grew up in Tahiti until 2015, then crossed the globe: two years in Lure, in eastern France, then Montpellier, where I have lived since 2017.
Today I work in technical support for the e-commerce business unit of a software company, across several SaaS products, from tier 1 to tier 3. When an order fails to sync or a site goes down, the cause may lie in the software, a connector, the ERP, the carrier, the payment provider… My job: pinpoint where it comes from, trace the symptom back to its root cause by cross-checking logs, metrics, data and code, then explain clearly what happened. In other words, I read logbooks all day long.
Passionate about computers since I was a kid, I trained first in development, then in systems and networking, so I understand the whole chain, from the customer to the infrastructure. What I enjoy most is observability. I set up monitoring for our support team, and I keep building my infrastructure skills with a personal Linux lab and a test Kubernetes cluster.
I use generative AI as a genuine work tool, with a clear method: I state my request with as much context and as many boundaries as possible, the AI suggests an approach, and I verify it locally before drawing conclusions.
Outside work, I captain my volleyball team, have managed gaming communities and play music. A crew is something you lead together.
